It's happening again. The bangs are beckoning. Like clockwork, I get this itch to snip snip snip when the weather gets chilly (forehead insulation??). I regret it after a month and my family (specifically my nieces) don't hold back their "sans bangs" preferences, but perhaps if I get the long, fringed kind it won't be so bothersome?? HA. What am I talking about?? That's the worst kind for a 'four eyes' like me. Under the glasses, I look like this. Over the glasses....and I look like this. Perhaps this is one of those 'loved from afar' looks for moi?
PS Yours truly rockin' some bangs...what say you, sartorially savvy munchkins?
I am there with you, girl! Every now and then, I feel the need to cut my bangs back in properly :) Haven't had it yet but it might happen now I've seen your collection of pictures!
Every time I need a trim, I tell myself I'm going to get bangs. Then I remember that I have super curly hair and not one, but two cowlicks right in the front of my hair and I do the right thing. Which is avoiding bangs.
I just got a haircut! And guess quoi?? Bangs! I just let my hairstylist do whatever he likes and he said right now it's all about the fringe! So I say a definite yes!
I'm obsessed with fringe bangs but I hate the permanency of them. I saw some Jessica Simpson clip in fringe bangs that I want to try.. :) xx The Fashionable ESQ http://www.thefashionableesq.blogspot.com/
I saw those too, but I though the "connecting point" of faux bangs and scalp looked kinda weird. Plus, they are suuuuuper shiny. Doesn't look natural to me.
i'm DYING to cut bangs again! Why does it always seem like such a good idea just as you grow them out to a normal length? I say do it, though... its just hair!

ReplyDeleteHaha....curly hair is not a friend of bangs AT ALL. Definite foes.

ReplyDeleteAwww I bet it looks so cute on you!
DeleteI love this look. I think it's super chic and just a little boho and I just desperately wish I could pull it off.

Try it out!! I mean, you basically have that cut....just fringe it up a bit.
