Hear ye, hear ye! Ladies and lads living in teensy apartments that are big on character but small on square footage, Kyle Schuneman is here to solve your design dilemmas- on a shoe string budget, no less. His all-star design advice, awesome DIYs (30 of them to be exact.....cha-ching!!!), thrifting tips, shopping resources and rad inspiration photos are packaged nicely in his debut book, The First Apartment Book. Not going to lie, each flip of the page brought a huge smile to my face....and the "Bohemian" section had me drooling. Loose, casual, colorful, and lots of fun prints. He nailed it.

My fave part? Seeing one of my best pals' place in there. Let me tell you, I've seen the before and after in the flesh, and Kyle worked some magic on Megan's San Fran abode. A pretty paint job in a happy shade of coral, DIY Roman shades, sleek furniture, and temporary wallpaper are just a few of the brilliant how-to's and tips he shelled out to spiff up her space. Not kidding, her place went from plain to "KAPOW!" in like....a day.

Bravo to you, Kyle, on your fab new book!!! Something tells me that you are probably going to earn the title of "Most Interesting Person" when our high school reunion rolls around.....haha!
