How To Meet Your Perfect Pair:
1. Click the image you want to print below (it will open in a new window), click it one more time to bring it to full size, and save it to your desktop.
2. Print out however many strips or pages you need.
Note 1: Don't print out more strips than there are guests - you want empty cups at the end of this so each person has someone to seek out!
Note 2: Remember there are two people per strip, so 20 guests calls for 10 strips.
2. Use the crop marks the cut out the strips, then just snip them in the middle of the heart.
3. Put all the men in the famous couples in one cup, the ladies in the other.
4. When everyone gets to the party, have your guests pick one.
5. Have fun chatting it up!
PS Feel free to repost this DIY project on your blogs...all I ask for is a credit and link back to the original post! :)

Nothing like a bit of Tom Foolery to compliment all that foolin' around everybody does on Valentine's Day - and these cards hit just the right note. Old Tom Foolery's cheeky love notes are right up my alley as I have made the hubby very well aware that anything overly mushy/lovey makes me want to gag. Not that I don't appreciate a sentimental outpouring of emotion every now and then, but sometimes it feels a little contrived on V-Day, no? I mean, the company tagline is "unsappy, uncrappy greetings and more." I think I just fell in love.

For the quirky gal or guy in your life, this poster of a heart by Ork is a fun Valentine's Day gift! I like the simple black and tan version best....you could easily spiff it up with a gallery-style red frame, or spray paint a flea market frame in your special someone's fave color for a cheaper alternative!

The Spring 2011 J.Crew collection was recently released, and yet again I am giving props to one of my most fave brands. The clothes are all so pretty and colorful...as far as I am concerned, Jenna Lyons can do no wrong. I especially love the denim shirt and knee-length skirt look with the scarf/belt combo (row 4, last pic). Such fab styling inspiration!

The Coveted provides a very inspiring peek into the closets of some of the industry's finest fashion editors, and I am swooning!!! I think Mary Kate Steinmiller (of Teen Vogue) is my fave of the bunch...I love all the bright colors, punchy patterns and sparkles. Looks like she also makes all those string bracelets herself...very similar to those chic camp-inspired bracelets I posted about a bit ago! Of course, I also love Bazaar's Joanna Hillman's sartorial collection...she can do no wrong in my book. So fun checking out these fashionistas' amazing clothing collections!

This just proves nothing is as chic and simple as a good pair of jeans, a hot pair of boots, the perfect white tee, and basic accessories. Oh ya, and mastering that gorgeous tousled bed-head hair is officially on top of my list. It's too bad I royally suck at anything involving styling my mane.

These friendship bracelets from Freida & Nellie are so much fun....they remind me of my days at Clearwater Camp as a kiddo, and how I would accumulate a HUGE collection of these woven bangles on my wrists and ankles by the end of summer. Except mine weren't bedazzled...such a bummer. These are a great combo of a few of my fave things - bright colors, cool patterns, and BLING!

Just in case you are wondering,.....no, the irony that I am posting this recipe website after a declaration of a 2011 fitness resolution is not lost on me. They Draw & Cook is a super rad cooking website that I stumbled across where different artists and illustrators draw out recipes submitted by users around the web. I want to print all these out, get some mason jars, fill them with the recipe contents, fasten the recipe to it with some Divine Twine (adore that stuff), and give them as gifts.

My New Year's resolution was to get fit and toned in 2011. I adopted some lazy eating habits in college, and have yet to grow out of them. Sadly, my metabolism is slowing as I get older and it definitely showing in all the WRONG places (I can give Kim Kardashian a run for her money in the booty department....wahhhh). I decided not to cut out any foods from my diet as that usually does a reverse psychology number on me, making me crave it even more. Instead, I am planning to eat everything in moderation and step up the exercise routine. Here's some tricks I have up my sleeve to make my resolution a reality in 2011!
I have to have music when I am working out. I tend to zone out when I am exercising, and the beat of the music is all that keeps me going. I like finding out about new artists and songs through Pandora and Stereomood. I posted my playlist on iTunes for you here!
TRACK IT:
I have been tracking all my calorie intake & exercise on MyFitnessPal.com, and it is a HUGE help when it comes to my mindless muching habit. You can also download an app, which I have on my phone. It's great for on-the-go additions.
WEAR IT:
I know this may seem shallow, but I hate looking like a sloppy sweaty mess in the gym. Hideous baggy clothes don't motivate me to work out. I have to dress the part. Ugh, maybe that is some super insane excuse I have developed over the years to avoid working out....but regardless, the beautiful apparel from Clary Sage Organics is a good to invest in. I love the Victoria's Secret yoga pants for their long length (I am 6'!) and affordability. These Puma trainers are stylish and cool. I also have been wanting to try those sneakers that tone your derriere...any of you have a pair you love/hate?
SEE IT:
May good pal Jenny, who is a little skinny mini so I have to trust her on this, swears by the Jillian Michaels workout DVDs. To be honest, Jillian scares the hell out of me...but maybe I need her to shout her tough love at me through the TV?
HEAR IT:
EAT IT:
Greek yogurt with fiber-rich cereal and a teeny bit of honey and sprinkled on top in the morning....nom nom nom. So filling and protein-packed. I like the Fage 0% Fat Free and Chobani Fat Free Vanilla best. The Trader Joe's Greek yogurts are a bit too thin for my taste, and I am not a big fan. Lunch is usually a salad. Dinner is totally random each night, and lately the hubby has been all about the slow cooker. I have been making lots of stews and roasts, and it's actually pretty easy and healthy to cook that way because you don't have to cook with added fats. Dessert is frozen fruit....I pretend it's sorbet. This one ingredient "ice cream" I posted about earlier is a staple!
MEASURE IT:
I don't own a scale, and I gauge how much I have gained/lost through how my clothes are fitting. The Adjust-A-Button is a nifty little gadget that helps get the perfect fit instantly on too-loose (or tight, but I desperately hope I don't have that scenario) waistbands. I would actually recommend weighing yourself before you start a diet, then ditch the scale. You'll know you're making progress without the daunting number. When you need a little encouragement, step on the scale and see how far you have come.

I heart these uber-pretty and delicate flower accessories from Twigs & Honey.
Plus, the photo styling is totally dreamy!I love the striped dress (of course), floaty chiffons, vintage furniture, and lush greenery.
This look would be KILLER for Kate Middleton...can't you see her wearing this?!

I am currently coveting the entire women's collection (and part of the men's too!) from Amsterdam-based Scotch & Soda...perfectly casual, and a bit rumpled yet refined. I am seriously craving that gorgeous striped wool coat, and the fantastic pointy-pocketed blazer. Took a little gander around Scotch & Soda's online shop, and yay for us a lot of their stock is on sale....I'll take one of each, please!

The hubby and I decided to jump ship after Christmas to get away from the chilly New England winter, and booked a ticket down South. For the past week, we have been visiting family and spending time in this fabulous and quirky city that is Austin, TX. Have any of y'all had the privilege of checking this place out? SO FUN...I luuuurve it!!! I came across the homewares from Austin-based artist Leah Duncan on Etsy a little bit ago, and have been waiting for the perfect time to post about her adorable tea towels, prints, pillows, scarves, and fabrics. Well, the time is now...so go peruse her shop (and her rad blog too!), TMT peeps!

Love Constance Jablonski's style....this Frenchie model always looks so cool. Nothing over the top, just totally wearable looks that translate well from day to casual nights out with friends. Lots of black, an essential blazer, a touch of denim, slouchy boots and super opaque tights....classic and always in fashion.

day-lab specializes in fun and affordable vintage jewelry and accessories produced from the 1930s through the 1980s, as well as independently designed and handmade jewelry, accessories, housewares, and gift items. Many of these items are unique in that they are inherently limited in availability or one-of-a-kind. The mix in the online shop is quirky, cool and surprisingly timeless....definitely adding this site to my roster of "what to get the gal pal who has everything" list.
An added bonus? Each month a percentage of day-lab's profits is donated to the Humane Society. Gotta keep those canines and kitties happy, healthy, and in good homes. After all, it is where we got our darling (and extremely neurotic) Pepsi...aka the best and sweetest dog everrrrrrr.

Speaking of Venice Beach, I just died a little over these pics....I so badly wish I could live in these photos by Alexandra Valenti and just soak in the sunlight and baste in the awesomeness. I am almost positive her camera is actually a time machine....she really captures the free spirited vibe and fantastic style embodied by the 60s & 70s rock n' roll boho era, but brings it into "the now." Now that's talent, indeed. Scroll down for more awe-inducing ultra cool photos, and head on over to her site to peruse her photo books. It's like a virtual vacation to paradise.

Los Angeles-based AfterAll is a multi-discplinary creative studio headed by artist Joanna Bean Martin. One-of-a-kind feather mobiles ($125-$300) are handmade, and the hand carved birdhouses (coming soon to the store) are a perfect addition to a backyard for aviary visitors. These remind me of the good ol' days ambling around Venice Beach...loves it. Just what I needed in the dead of winter.

Those Swedes have the best design sense...must visit the "homeland" one day. Yet another perfectly light and bright apartment with just the right touches. Seriously, the second I get the keys to our future house, I am going in with a white can of paint and dousing the place.
