Having attended what could possibly have been the prettiest winter wedding ever, I thought it was really interesting to see Martha's take over on 100 Layer Cake on a winter wedding....a very different feeling than the one I went to. My pal Em had an evening wedding, and everything was so elegant - twinkling lights, shimmering sequins, light blue and white hydrangeas painted with bits of shimmer, gilded accents, and luxe silks. Stunning. I think this is a really fun alternative for a day wedding - casual, cozy, handmade bits and pieces strewn out around the room. Now if only of us were so lucky to have a little country cottage to host the event, that would be something!
